The Downtown Waynesville Christmas Parade is a beloved holiday tradition that brings the community together on the first Monday of December at 6:00 p.m. Each year, the parade features a unique theme that inspires festive floats, marching groups, performers, businesses, and community organizations to showcase their holiday creativity along Main Street.
Spectators can enjoy an evening filled with holiday spirit as beautifully decorated entries compete for First, Second, and Third Place awards for the best interpretation of the annual theme. Parade registration opens each September, welcoming participants from across Haywood County to be part of one of Waynesville's most anticipated and cherished holiday events.
