About the Event
Light the Night is Downtown Waynesville's cherished holiday kickoff, bringing the community together to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. Enjoy an evening of live music, hot cocoa, cookies, and caroling as the Town's Christmas tree is illuminated in front of Town Hall. With downtown shops staying open late and restaurants welcoming guests, it's the perfect opportunity to shop, dine, and experience the magic of the holidays.
More than a celebration, Light the Night is also an opportunity to give back. Guests can adopt an Angel from the community Giving Tree to help provide Christmas gifts for Waynesville children in foster care, making the season brighter for local families while creating a meaningful holiday tradition for all.
