Folkmoot USA Celebrates Chinese New Year - Folkmoot is partnering with WCU's Office of International Programs & Services to celebrate the year of the rooster with a Chinese New Year celebration in Waynesville. This lively event will feature Chinese food, crafts and traditional Chinese New Year activities Saturday, January 28, 6-8pm. Da Asian Kitchen will prepare egg rolls, fried rice, white rice, vegetable stir fry, chicken and vegetable stir fry and a dessert for attendees. WCU students and faculty will assist with hands-on New Year activities and cultural sharing. Advance tickets for Folkmoot’s Chinese New Year are $8 for kids, $10 for adults and $35 for families of four or more.
