Apple Creek Café Bar & Grill has moved to Main Street and is OPEN! In transition the restaurant is now called Apple Creek Café Bar & Grill. When owners Brandon & Morgan Anderson heard of the closing of the previous Nick & Nate's Pizza and the availability of the space they took advantage of the opportunity to move the restaurant over the last 6 weeks. The space now completely renovated will include a new bar.
The new location offers a warm & inviting atmosphere where patrons can enjoy any of the menu items during the day or evening. Apple Creek Café was recently voted one of the best lunches & best sandwiches in Haywood County in the 2015 Readers Choice Awards. Known for its fresh, made-to-order sandwiches, salads, house-made soups & desserts, the new restaurant offers all of the well-known favorites and many more options.
Originally a walk up and order style restaurant, the new café bar and grill has changed to a traditional sit-down restaurant. The expanded menu offers a new appetizer and bar menu, specialty sandwiches, Po-boys, tacos, soups, salads and a delectable array of new entrees. Entrée items include, steaks, chicken, pasta, and fish.
With the addition of a bar in the new space, customers can enjoy their favorite sports game or event on two large screen TV's. Apple Creek offers 12 domestic and craft beers on tap as well as a large selection of domestic and craft beers by the bottle. To compliment any meal, an extensive wine list has been chosen and is offered by the glass or bottle. For those who enjoy a great drink, you do not want to miss one of Apple Creek's Craft Cocktails. A selection of classic offerings from yesterday and today is available as well as a carefully chosen blend of spirits to create your favorite drink and satisfy any palate.
Apple Creek Café Bar & Grill is open 7 days a week. The full menu is available daily until 9pm. The appetizer and bar menu is available 9pm to close. Hours of operation: Monday-Thursday 10:30am to 10:00pm, Friday and Saturday 10:30am-midnight. Sunday 11:00 am to 10:00pm.
Apple Creek's mission is to create a loyal following from their customers by giving them the highest degree of service possible and providing them with the freshest, finest quality food and drink at reasonable prices, in a soothing and comfortable environment.

Mast General Store Be a Sweetheart and Help Feed the Hungry This Valentine's Day The Mast General Store in Waynesville is partnering with MANNA FoodBank this February 13 & 14 to fill its larder with food. The annual Be a Sweetheart, Feed the Hungry event matches each pound of candy purchased with a $1 donation to help ensure that those in our community needing a good meal will have the ability to enjoy one. With Valentine's Day upon us, candy is one of the holiday's traditional gifts, and on Be a Sweetheart weekend, it can show others that you care, too. Fred Martin, president of the Mast Store, commented, "Our local food agencies do amazing things! Each dollar donated to MANNA FoodBank is transformed into three hearty meals. So, a simple gift of your sweetheart's favorite candy results in a donation to MANNA, which in turn provides food for a local community member's table. It's like a hug for the whole community." In addition to making a donation to the MANNA FoodBank for each pound of candy purchased on February 13 and 14, change jars will be set up at each register. Your spare change can make a big impact on someone's life. With Valentine's Day upon us, candy is one of the holiday's traditional gifts, and on Be a Sweetheart weekend, it can show others that you care, too.

Antik and Fine Accessories It's on to Bali…home of sandy beaches, extraordinary vistas, smiling people, and, importantly for us, more than 200 Indonesian antique dealers in a 40 mile radius. These guys do the "pickin" for us in the former Dutch islands of Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi. They bring the old pieces back to Bali (cause that's where the tourists are) and refinish them to our specifications. While most of our pieces date to the late 1940's, and are original, we also buy several reclaimed dining tables of wood species native to the Indonesian islands. Furniture production, both old and new is a major export item, and supports many jobs and businesses. No more clear-cutting by large corporations. Sustainable forests are critical to the long term health of this business, and prudent replanting is closely controlled by the Indonesian forestry industry. We love going to Bali, and while the trip is long, it has become a part of our life. Come see us 172 North Main Street
